With the confidence being boosted from her recitals, she won many awards from prestigious competition as well: first prize in Brussels Grand Prize International Competition, third prize in Ensemble Competition, Grand Prize Winner in IBLA Italy, and being a runner-up player in Carnegie Hall in New York.
Joey is full of passion and so much energy towards music that she wanted more people to be engaged with classical music. Not only as an artist, she has worked as a columnist in Samsung Family Site, Eumak Journal Magazine, NewsN, and so on. She is also working on training young, gifted students at Korean Bible University, Incheon Arts High School, Kaywon High School of Art, and Kaywon Middle School.
